FLUE GAS DESULFURIZATION
FGD Semi-Dry
Our Semi- dry circulating fluidized bed scrubbers is mostly used in single power units upto 200MW capacity
including
Waste to Energy Plants.
Absorption of SO2 is effected by a dry absorbent containing lime (CaO) or dry hydrated lime (Ca(OH)2).
Water is added to
the absorbent in a humidifier prior to its introduction into the flue gas.
A unique feature of our technology is that all the recycled absorbent is wetted in the humidifier,
which optimizes the
utilization of the recycled absorbent.

Salient Features
- Minimum investment & Low operating costs
- Small footprint & easy maintenance
- High Efficiency & Less desulfurization by-products

- Simple process & Reliable operation
Advantages vs Wet FGD
- Lower capital and total lifecycle costs
- High multi-pollutant removal efficiencies
- No waste water treatment required
- Reuse of existing stack is possible
Advantages vs Other Dry FGD designs
- Smaller footprint allowing maximum flexibility for retrofits
- Modular design makes field erection easy.
- Great turndown without gas recirculation
- Integrated hydrator/mixer design eliminating need for slurry handling
